Default Improve LS1 Intake Manifold?

Is there any way to improve the stock intake manifold maybe by porting it, or something?

If so HOW should i go about doing this, steps, advise etc.
I am installing a cam that will be choked up byt his intake manifold quite a bit and i dont have the cash right now for a new FAST 90 w/ a Nicky Williams TB so this is my temporary option. Please get back to me w/ any info, HOW TO's, Photos, tools, diagrams. Anything

Thanks
Adam

i would just get a ls6 intake for 300 and port the stock throttle body, my dad has a small cam 224/224 112lsa and he has ls6 intake ported throttle body, coated LT's, cutout, lid, ftra, yank 3000 stall and has hit 11.42 at 118 mph with a weight of 3500 pounds so this intake is no joke, you will see marginal gains of the 90/90 setup for all the extra money, unless you are going to run a huge cam and heads, i would just get the ls6 and if the time comes were you really need the fast 90 you will be able to get you money back from the ls6 no problem

the cam will be pretty huge, and i will eventually turn around and spray the ever loving sh*t out of it sot he Fast 90 is what i feel i need. AND i will be putting the intake on my stroker motor as well once i get that goin. This is why i'd like to find a way to modify the stock 98 LS1 intake manifold, so that maybe i can run it w/ fewer problems and then save enough cash for the rest of the car

there's not enough access to make any worth while porting. just accept the fact your intake will be a big restriction or opt for an ls6 for the time being while saving up for the 90/90

Your name says '02Ws6...you should have an Ls6 intake already!
unless your talking about the '98 in the sig....then i would just get a used ls6 for it, and get the 90/90 later if you deem it nessesary.

Yeah i'm talking about the 98 in my sig... i was just hoping there would be some way for me to free it up a bit, but i guess it would be pointless. Jerami i'm jsut gonna take your word for it... unless you have any ideas that MIGHT help even the slightest bit not looking for power gain just to get more air into the motor.

Thanks

Adam

You could always swap intakes, with the 2002 & the 98 just for the time being until you saved up enough cash for the Fast 90/90. Just a thought.
