Ha! I just bought a PCV made for LS1 trucks. A few people at LS1.com recommend me just buy this part instead of getting a catch can that will add more **** on the engine bay. I compare between the two and it make sense that the truck PCV should do the job preventing oil into the intake manifold.

GM made the truck PCV valve the standard replacement for these cars at least 5 or 6 years ago. I remember reading bout it back then. That didn't help then people started doin the LS6 PCV swap (myself included). No success there either. If your gettin oil in the intake your best bet is a catch can. Good luck with it tho, there's always exceptions to the rule.

Catch can would probably my last resort also if this don't work, but like I was saying my original PCV have a bigger inlet orifice than the truck PCV (made for 2002-2004)and also the old PCV had something inside like a check valve or something. The truck PCV is just tiny canister with two holes, one on each end, one smaller than the other (inlet hole).

I have nitrous solenoids stacked on the passenger side head at the tensioner. I have the AMW as well and plan on getting it tucked down where I can access the petcock through the access doors under the driving lights on my 2000 Camaro. Any photos of this area? Ideas on where to mount the can?

I put mine under the fuses on driver side and had it hanging down to where the air pump is and when its time to drain oil out of it I pull 2 screws out where air pump is and easy accesses!

Whatever you want to catch, plug it in the middle of the line. PCV valve out of the crankcase into the catch can, out of the catch can into the throttle body.

Currently working on fabbing something up. I am not the best at coming up with a design though. Just don't have the imagination or something.
That is the location mine is going though. Just have to figure out how to mount it.
The dryer bracket was too big for my can, so I had to cut it down.

This question is for anyone. When buying a compressor oil separator is it better to have a unit that is 22 scfm @ 90 psi with .01 micron filtering or a 57 scfm @ 90 psi with 5 micron filtering ability. So either better flow less filtering or less flow and more filtering. Thanks
