I just put my Fernco on and I am also running a Direct cutting on fernco to make it fit and its kind of tFlow lid(which doesn't fit the best in the world) and I also have a NX kit and I am scared it is going to crack my lid when the motor torques. I had to do a lot of ight but I did try reving the motor up and it all seemed to be ok, there didnt seem to be any major flexing going on.
What do you guys think?

Personally, I hated the Frenco when I had the toilet hose on my car. It was hard to put on and take off as you mentioned. I got a Baker hose and trimmed it to fit and it's perfect. The Baker cost $18 more than the Frenco did back when I did mine. Actually got more questions and nice comments on the Baker than about anything else on the car. I'm not into appearance mods but I've never heard a nice word about how a Frenco looked.
A slight film of oil makes the toilet hose easier to slide onto the TB and MAF. Microwaving the Frenco for a few seconds will help make it easier to get on. Don't over do it or it will melt. Not that I ever melted one in the microwave or anything.

Josh, I know there's guys that say the Fernco hose works but look at the facts..they don't fit correctly. Do what you want but for me the Fernco hose doesn't make it.

I thaught about the Baker hose BUT where in the world can you get them???? If I can find one I'll go with it but this is more or less a quick thing. Does it require AS much trimming?

Baker 1-800-959-7757, ask for the Camaro hose. The hose is made one inch too long, for a nice fit there is some minor trimming, I'll see if I can find the thread about how to trim the hose.

I have to chime in here. I have been running a Fernco for about 6 months now with zero problems. I actually had my intake off yesterday and I trimmed the Fernco some. It fits great now and my lid never fit or sealed better. It's very easy to get on and off IMO. I'm also installing a NX wet kit right now. I'm sure there will be no problems with the nozzle. I'm glad I only spent $4 intead of $50 for the SLP bellows. Even the Baker hose needs to trimmmed. It does look better though.

I can show you pics of the 2 broken tabs on my lid from that sewer hose Its on my GFs car since I couldnt get it to stay on anymore, run it if you want, but you pay ~$800 for headers, but have to scrimp for an intake hose

I saw the one from Air Flow Systems, and was wondering why that particular one and the one from SLP have that hump? Whats the purpose of it? And why dont they make them entirely straight for maximum flow? Thanks

I think a 4x4 Fernco would probably work better than the 3x3 peice so thats probable what you have unless you have one hell-of-a weird car.
I took the car out tonight and I got to try it out with the fernco and new plugs and it SEEMED to pull extremely hard but then again I haven't driven it in a couple days. I checked it when I got back home and everything seemed to be ok. I plan on investing in the baker hose anyway but I'm gunna give the Fernco a chance.

I have the stepped Fernco coupler, and it's worked great for almost a year. I don't remember the part number but it went from 3" to 3.5" I believe but it doesn't have that huge bulgde in it like the one in the link. Mine just has an angled transition that I would think would cause less turblance? Anyway mine was about $20-25 and I had to special order it at Lowes. I had to trim it but like I said it's worked great for the past year.
