header install halted . . . pass coil pack after a few driver's probs i moved to the passenger side. pretty smooth sailing until . . . you guessed it, rear coil pack bolt. i am at a loss. any suggestions? i'd like to know how the hell the service techs do it. i've been trying the straight on approach with a deep well 10mm. anybody know if i can remove that black rubber hose that's in the way and goes through the firewall. i'd love any input, in fact i'll pay someone to come take that damned bolt off <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: header install halted . . . pass coil pack You will need to use a wrench. It will take a little while. When you get that bad boy out you can always file 13 it. I used a gear wrench on mine only took about 30 seconds to get it out. Good luck.

Re: header install halted . . . pass coil pack I just removed that damn hose (was doing cam too at time so why not) that helped alittle. Needless to say that bolt did not go back in the camaro when I was done.

I guess there would be more room on the Pass. side, but I got in there OK. Get the last rear bolt from underneath.

I've done a few sets of LT's and have got that bolt down! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Good luck with the header install. I live in Pace so look me up sometime. I have a NBM SS with Chrome Z06's on it. Only Z06's in town. Look forward to meeting you!

Re: header install halted . . . pass coil pack Thanks for the compliments on the car! As far as muffler shops, Georges Muffler off of Hwy 29 on Detroit will do it. Prices are good also. If I can help with the headers just let me know.

Re: header install halted . . . pass coil pack go out and get a set of speed wrenches and use the boxed end those. they function like a socket but utilize 1/4 the space and just work it slowly. drink a beer with the other hand while working on it for approx 5-7 mins.
