The car is a 2001 Camaro Convertible, originally a 3.8L V6. I did the LS1 conversion on it and just finished her up yesterday. The car is my cousins but since I did all the work and all the ideas were mine, minus exhaust, I get to brag about it and post pics

This is a Dr. Gas Universal X-pipe that is 3" inlet and 2.5" outlet. The exit pipes were too wide so the muffler shop made me some new ones and kept the ones that came with the kit. They just added some glasspacks and turn downs. You can see they also made some flanges on the Xpipe and Pacesetter Long Tubes (no they dont leak). The cost of the x-pipe kit was $150 from a member here and the glasspacks and welding was $175, $325 for a brand new X-pipe setup. I love the way it sounds but I think it may be too loud for my cousins neighborhood. We might end up putting some high flow cats and extend the dumps to tips out the back, under the axle.

I see that some people have the turn downs facing towards the outsides. IMO i think that can be dangerous, if you blow your engine. Oil can spit out towards your tires and make you lose control of the car (friend told me this). Just a thought.

Dirty 30, is that camaro a stock LS1 with true duals? Do you have any sound clips? I've been looking for some sound clips with a stock LS1 and true duals. For some reason I can't find them, I know they are out there somewhere.

Hey guys. I've been searching for a credible shop around the Southside of Chicago to do my true duals. I know the basics of everything, I just can't find the time to do it.

The only thing I don't have is a pipe bender which holds me up from doing it myself.
Is there anyone with information where I can go to get them done or is anyone willing to help me out here that has a shop around that area?

Hit me up through a PM, I don't mean to jack the thread. Any help is appreciated..!

Your sponsor? Or they do them? Got any more information on them? Have any idea what they would charge for the basic dumped before the axle?

Better yet, who would I talk to over there?

Here is an idle clip of 98. Pacesetter LT's. 2.5 X pipe with Spintech Prostreets. 3" under axle tails. Don't have any pictures of it. I'll try and snap some soon and put them up. I rarely have clearance issues.

So far a 3" universal X-pipe kit from Summit will not work with my BMR Trak Pack. I think it is mostly to due with the 4L80e being so long and the angles being wrong. The pipe on the drivers side cannot clear the trans and trans support correctly. I'll keep everyone updated on a custom bent one.
