^^^ ^^^

That flowmaster is going to sound nice with them, but still flow like ****. Adding a cutout in the I-pipe will give you some roar and some flow.

Your not saving much if any with the TSP ORY.....i just ordered coated pacesetter LTs, pacesetter ORY, and a cutout...total came to 570$ shipping included...

Pacesetter LTs are definitely the way to go when price is in effect

i have the pacesetters and have seen many pics of there crappy coating come off and rust.
Im not positive...but the armor coat doesnt exactly just fall off, just cause they rust doesnt mean the coat has fell off, of course theyre goin to rust, theyre not stainless...if you dont mind rusting(if your car isnt a showcar, why give a ****?)then pacesetters are for you

Or you could go with the ORY and listen to some guys that actually have headers.

Pacesetters are the way to go. And even with my LT's, ORY and a cutout, the rasp is very minimal. It's worth the 3-4 hp I got with it IMO.

Dude you need to stop postin stupid ****. With the right exhaust mixed with a ORY will will have very minimal rasp & if you do have some it will hardly be noticeable.

You need to learn more before you go givin advise.

As far as the topic, get the coated Pacesetter LT's they are the best for the money. We got mine in without any modification to anything. They slid right in.

Hey why don't you post about something you know about like stock LS1 exhaust's or V6's oh wait you're an engineering student... sorry.

Stop posting bullshit that you just read and have no experience with, I'm willing to bet you've never even heard a hooker catback with LT's and an ORY, not all ORY setup's are raspy.

Oh and another thing, did you ever stop to think for a second that some people like the sound of a raspy exhaust? I for one kind of do, I think it makes the car sound dirty and mean.

i know of some people that have paceseetters, jet-hots and a few others, but i have Mac-mids personally, they seem to make good power, and have more ground clearance than almost any other header/ory i have seen. The only thing, they tick, that is the only thing i have against the Mac's. If i do another set of headers im thinking kooks.
With the mac headers to do get some rasp between 2100-2400 RPM. With the cut-out open its sounds Nasty...it wakes neighbors up if you hit over 2000 rpm at night. Through my SLP dual/dual, there is almost no rasp at all, and is still rather quiet without cats.
The macs are great for ground clearance, easy install, and reasonable. Took me 5 hours to do start to finish. That was the first thing i have done to the car. Im sure i could do then a little quicker now.

Just my $.02
