Pacesetter's vs. QTP's gains?

I recommend that you don't worry about gains as much as fitment when choosing your headers. That being said, Kooks and QTP are both exceptional both in fitment and gains.
My recommendation for any application on an F-body is QTP or Kooks headers with a custom Y-pipe. The QTP Y is very difficult to get to fit, and Kooks doesn't offer a catted Y (or didn't when I puchased my exhaust).

I am going to go w/ QTP or Kooks when I get headers... Stainless > non stainless. W/ non SS headers, they may be ok for a while... or they may not rust... but w/ SS headers, they WILL be fine for a VERY long time and will NOT rust.

Budget = pacesetters, No Budget = kooks...I have helped install both and I felt that the Kooks were easier, howver botht the Kooks and Qtps are top notch headers. Also, as someone else already said the HVMC on the QTP's is great but you wont see a huge difference over any of the other LT's out there.
QTP if price is not a major concern. You will have just about enough left over for an ORY if you arn't going to run cats.
I like the QTP's simply because they look great, and you never have to worry about enviromental conditions taking a toll on them.

QTP off road y or mufflex custom off road y? ($300 vs. $500) Many say fitment is poor with the qtp y but it flows better? Any have experience with a custom mufflex y? Most seem to go this route.
