I have noticed that K and N is getting cheaper or something. I bought one four years ago and it was the exact same thickness as the stock paper filter. I bought one about a month ago and it is like a quarter of the thickness of the stock paper one.

New ford trucks paper filters are like 40-60 bux a piece, so its like 10 bux more for a K&N, and if you plan to keep the truck for a while 1> you dont have to worry about finding a store that has it in stock 2> you dont have to spend another 50 dollars. Both have their plus' and minus' but BOTH do filter which is why their called a AIR FILTER, and yea I feel dumber for reading this thread even though I skipped half of it
