That sucks my friend hit a nice one a few years ago and bent two of his torque thrusts needless to say he was pissed. But hey it could have been alot worst than that try to look at the bright side I guess.

Ouch...so that's a couple of your SLP LT primaries? I know it might hurt flow a little bit but I don't think it would hurt that bad. Look at it this way - it's only 2 cylinders that might have marginally less flow so the power loss is most likely minimal. If you're worried about it I'm sure a body or exhaust shop could pull the dents out.

Ouch, you should definitely take that pic to the municipality that overseas that road and tell them to not only fix the damn pothole but reimburse you for the damage as well. Might get a result, might not

They would probably try to pull some **** like "Oh, well since your exhaust is aftermarket and hangs lower, that's not our fault."

When I had my SS, I hit a HUGE rock in road and put a dent in my 3" ORY on the driver's side where it connects to the long tube, it didn't feel like it lost any noticeable power. I would guess 2hp MAYBE.

I think you'll be fine! Now in the Z06, I'm PARANOID about potholes and rocks, haha

Looks similar to the dents in my driver side pipes. I came around a turn and hit a rock in the road. Took out my ypipe completely and dented the headers. I replaced the ypipe and left the headers as is. I've put about 30k miles on it since then with no issues. I'm sure it's not optimal, but I'm not too worried about it on a stock cube, stock head motor. Also, with just the mods listed in my sig I trapped in the 110 to 111 range in the 1/4 so it must not be hurting power all that much.

Damn Travis. You need a vacation or something to travel away from some serious luck issues lately. First your Xbox360 then the misfires, now this.

Considering they are SLP Lt's...you cant hurt them much more...They already suck for making power. LOL They are fixable with a dent puller and some stick tabs welded on them.

Thanks for the support jordan, someone needs to invent like a hydraulic/electric roto rooter type tool that expands from the inside to fix header dents.

The SLPs make fine power. The only bad thing about them is how ridiculously low they hang.

One of the tubes in my Kooks looks like one of those.

I was coming back from Houston Raceway and hit a huge HUMP sticking out of the road. It wasn't a dip or anything, just a ******* iceberg poking up. 18-wheelers driving down that soft asphalt smashed it up into humps, and one of them knocked the **** out of me.

It was so high, that it knocked the 1" nut off the bottom of my K&N oil filter (truck style).

Well I knew it hit REALLY hard, so I just put my eyes on my oil pressure guage until I was able to pull over (no shoulder on this damn road either). I was really pissed. The next time the headers are off the car, I may heat the pipe up and stick my breaker bar in it to try to get it back into shape.

Consider yourself lucky, a speed bump ripped my clamped y pipe straight the f'off. Bent it all up and everthing.
