Is it necessary to replace gaskets to intake?
Is it necessary to replace gaskets to intake? My car runs great when i install my ls6 intake and headers. I didnt use a torque wrench to torque this, but I'm good at guessing in pounds, well my local tuner is tuning my car said that there may be a leak on my exhaust, and that I should of put new intake gaskets, so maybe that will fix the tune a little bit better, my question is if is it really necessary to replace the gaskets on the intake, and what would be the symptoms of a leak, or is there something to test if theres a leak?

If you tuner said there is a leak 'on your exhaust' why are you going to put new 'intake' gaskets in?
Don't change them and tell him you did and see if he says anything different..?
