I don't know any thing about that one. The sponsors here work really hard to give us a hand. They generally have some good deals. I would look their first.

Get the raptor.

 

I have the raptor shift light a snap to install.

 

I never thought of installing it in the vent. Thats a pretty good idea.

 

wow that looks a pain in the as to install.....is there no easier way

 

id get a raptor or harlan , i love my raptor . DO NOT get an incadescent type shift light. it will give you more issues than its worth , flash at weird times, slow to react.

there easy as hell to instal too
power, ground, then a tach signal also the raptor lights can be adjusted w/o taking them apart unlike the harlan's (both are LED's)

 

As for the install, you could run it up the A-pillar. I have mine installed at eye level. Tucks up real nice on the pillar. It's not really a pain at all.

 

+1 for the Raptor. I have a blue one and it's my favorite Mod of All (Keeps my eyes on the road when I'm racing). I have it installed in the Vent and you wont know its even there until its time to shift and I can see it even when the sun is in my eyes. I love it!

 

The Raptor is great and very easy to install. I like mine a lot!

Im trying to find the shift light on byunspeed. I found an Auto Meter shift light for $67. Anyone have a link to the raptor shift light?

Thanks, 85 bucks for a shift light! Damn a couple of years ago I got an 5 inch monster autometer tack for 120 bucks. I guess when gas goes up so does everything up except my pay....

 

i have the proform and it works great. little big compared to most, but i tucked it in the left side air vent of the Z (pics in my website, page 3).

simple dial on the back, not very accurate, but easy to adjust. so a little trial and error to fine tune it is all that's needed.

for the price...it works for me.

 

i got one of those style shift lights from summit and their just too big and tacky, spend a couple more $$ and get a Raptor.. their SUPER NICE!

How is the install process on the raptor??

 

here's my proform. like i said it's a bit bigger than others, but it works just fine and was inexpensive.

haha, I agree. You know gas prices are fucked when the price difference is 20 cents from mile to mile. Right by my house, it is $3.49 and a mile up the street, it is $3.29, same brand of gas too! Sorry for the hi-jack, I am going to order a raptor when I get my coolant lines for the new intake in a few weeks here, seems pretty sleek and would fit nice in vent.

 

get the raptor it is a wonderful product (helps that I am the vehicle on their website!!!!) seriously one of the best products I have ever used

 

I searched on here and found someone that had placed it in the defrost vent for the window. It looked pretty sweet. I think thats what I'll do if I can save up enough money for the damn thing
