I didnt originally think it was adjustable, but then again I never really looked at the crank sprocket part.
Use copper spray if you want. It's up to you. I'm not sure why your block wouldn't be true enough to just use graphite gaskets without copper spray. And, frankly, if it's that uneven, you've got bigger issues. It's totally up to you.
Find out if the sprocket is adjustable. Then we can go from there.

You can get it off with a 3-jaw puller. It shouldn't be hard.
but the base circle of the cam you pulled out was the same as stock.
but the push rods that came out on the car where what size?
mabye you should but a comp push rod length checker
