Well, your going to actually have to cut it (unless you can find where it attaches and try to slip it off) to get the new piece on, then reconnect it running thru the same hole as the two heater connects are.. But, just dont cut it in 5 pieces like I did.

I pulled mine off at the end of summer because i blew and line. Hell i may keep it off it looks so much cleaner under the hood, But i will not take out the whole box i just put some rubber caps on the AC ends Also with the AC condenser gone my lid/air filter gets twice the air it used to

You still have the whole thing attached to the firewall though.

Ilikeppie just remember the elevation is going to screw you badly. Dont get upset at a low 12 second pass because remember that would be an 11 second pass at sea level.

Right now I bet im running mid 14's. I will see when I run this year.

does anyone know where the a/c system sucks the air in from?

I deleted my a/c and when i turn the fan on the air always seems to be alot warmer than outside. just trying to see if theirs a way to make the air a lil colder for when im in traffic or something.

So, if I want to remove the box with the engine in the car... It has to be completely destroyed?
