6.0 LQ9, TSP Torquer v2 and 243's ???
Ok let me start with my mods:
05 LQ9 6.0 11,xxx miles
243 Heads
TSP Torquer v2 Cam
Long Tube Headers
True Duals with Bullets
LS6 Intake
Ported Stock TB
Stock 3:23 gears
And a Basic Tune....
I can honestly say I am pretty upset with the turn out of this build. I still have my Basic Tune havent gotten it Wideband or anything and am running TR6's. I still do have a bad tranny but my 1st and 2nd work OK. What do you all recommend me to do to have better performance on the STREET not really taken to the Tracks. Oh and I still am on my Stock Stall.

4K rpm stall and some 3.73's (or maybe 3.90's) would be my choice. Get a gear calculator and figure out where you'll be rpm wise when picking a final drive ratio. Don't wanna be shifting into 4th before crossing the line in the 1/4 mile. 1st and 2nd will be useless without a tire too.

And yes, you will benefit greatly from a stall!

big believer in stalls right here! it makes all the difference i went from 13.4 stock with long tubes and yank 3600 stall cut that to 12.8. might want to get your trans build first mine lasted one night with the stall in granted the 145000 miles of hard life in stock form but thats what i think.

With a 6.0 block, you can run a larger cam than a Torquer V2. Definitely a 3500+ stall and 3.73 gears. They'll both help you out whether it's a street or strip car. Get the tranny rebuilt cause it'll be the first thing to go.

I'm not sure why you aren't happy with your setup. How can you even judge it when you acknowledge the following:
No tune.
Transmission issues.
No stall.
Fix those 3 items and your opinion will probaly change. Good luck with your car.

Thanks guys, I definetly am gonna get the tranny worked on but I need to save up a little because the previos shop screwed me over... As for gears they will come soon and stall a bit later or maybe when I am getting the tranny rebuilt HOPEFULLY. And can't forget the Tune. But thanks guys for the input. What stall would be almost perfect for my setup?
