A Flooded Street vs. LS1

I would personally turn it over by hand if you can then use the starter to blow out the water. Then squirt a little oil in each cylinder to lubricate and turn it over with the starter again to ensure it doesn't start dry. You need to do this quick, the internal parts rust quickly.

Good lord, the engine son the engine. What else would you turn over? The entire car? I mean come on man, we are tryin to help, told you exactly what to do & your still not understanding or listening one of the two.
The things we have told you to do is pretty much all you can do once you suck water in the engine. Follow the steps that have been outlined more than once in here & then tell us what happened.
I will say again do not crank the motor with the plugs in it if you know you sucked water in. I'd bet there is water in your cylinders & if you crank it over your gonna hydro lock it probably.

What they're telling you to do in a nutshell is:
Step 1: Remove all 8 spark plugs from your motor
Step 2: Remove the fuel pump fuse from the fuse panel inside the engine bay
Step 3: Turn the key as if you were trying to start your car, and let it crank for 10-15 seconds to pump out any water.
Step 4: Change your oil
Step 5: Install new spark plugs
Step 6: Check/clean air filter, MAF, IAT... And any other sensors that could've gotten wet.
Step 7: Reinstall fuel pump fuse
Step 8: Go to fire it up and hope for the best

I agree completely, no chance in risking it.

I hope by now you have got the water out of the cylinders. You do not want it sitting in there very long.

Same thing happend to me a month after I bought my car...threw #7 outta the block. I had like almost 2 gallons of water in my intake too. I told insurance that they can either buy me a brand new motor or total it out and I will buy a new one. They told me they wanted to stick somethin in my car outta a junk yard and I told the hell no they weren't. So they totaled it.

No problem man. The more time you spend on here the more knowledge you'll grow. Granted there is alot of false info, but after a while you figure out which members to listen to & it gets easier.

I agree with everything said. Turn it over by hand to see if water is coming out the spark plug holes... keep turning it until you do not see any more water coming out. Then crank it using the starter w/o plugs and fuel like the other guys mentioned...
cross your fingers and hope you shut the car down in time, before water got in a running motor.

if it sits for more than 7 hours. rust is already forming. . put a 50/50 mix (a little less than a teaspoon) of brake fluid and trans fluid in your cylnders. to help lube it up

now I drained the oil pan and water came out first and then oil... and then took out the spark plugs and turned the motor manually and water came out too.....
should i continue doin it manually or buy oil and do it with ignition...*no oil in the engine, so I figured I can't crank it until I put oil again*
