I love my cam only TR230 vert. Perfect for the street and sounds mean! Yeah it doesn't make the power of the huge "named" cams, but from stop light to stop light it's pretty nasty! Power starts around 2200 and falls off around 6100rpm with a nice flat power curve. Driveability is near stock aswell! As for wanting more power? Sure it would be nice, but you have to be honest with yourself about your goals. Myself personally have never had my current car or the previous on the track and never will. My goal was to have a fun car with decent power and would l handle like it's on rails.

Any cam will get a lot of attention, get a cam that performs best for your setup..

I got a buddy with an Ms4.. It sounds like its a mean mother ******.. The bitch is slow as *****.. Runs 8.4s@83mph.
My baby 226 cam sounds like it would get demolished by his car and I run 7.4s@92mph.

Don't judge a car by its sound! (The book cover **** saying sounded dumb when I read it to myself)

His motor may not be hurt but he may not have all supporting mods or have the whole combo set up right. Not to mention he may be spinning too. No good to have all that power and can't put it on the ground.

I dono, EVERY local with a MS3 MS4 cam, 346/stock heads makes realy low tourqe numbers. Like 370-38x low, not much better then a good bolt ons car. And traps light too 111-113s, 116 at most. But their car sounds good and there happy with it.

Hit in on the head.. He doesn't spin, he cuts 2.0 sixty times..... With slicks! Just a horribly set up car.. He put down like 390/375..

It is not the cam, it is the rest of the setup.

When I was on stock suspension I was running 7.2s@96mph in a DA of 2500 without a tune.. Was cutting horrible sixties (1.63-1.66). It would lift the tires about a foot and then unload which in turn would make it spin. Car had solid 6.7s-6.8s in it on motor with suspension and a tune. It would have been around 124mph in the 1/4 through a 4000 stalled A4. Not too shabby I don't think.
Most people that put an Ms4 in a DD car don't have the ***** to do what it needs... Minimum of a 4000 stall 410s light weight nice heads and intake etc etc..

exactly... a 2.0 60ft is horrible. is the car stick or auto? i agree that u need atleast a 4000 and the 410s and u can still get away with stock heads but yeah i would also check the tuner...

I trap 117 118 average with my junker..Full weight car, AC everything works..MS4,stock 243s(new heads soon) FAST90/90..runs low 12s all over the track..I want slicks and QA1s before I do heads I think..On the street..the smaller camed LS cars walk me in 1st and 2nd because I spin and they dead hook..but 3rd gear and I walk and walk hard..

i got a cam that i new i would be happy with. not too big and not too small. I dont want to ever have to do a swap again.

It is an A4.. The tune is spot on, he used my tuner I have and is arguably one of the best in this area.

well what type of rear end and gear? somehting is wrong in that set up. i dont see why a car with the info givn should cut 1.5 1.6s

I said most Camed LS cars lol But If I do..Illl kick my 4 turbos and 500 shot in..Id like to run Jared again if I wouldnt get so happy on the throttle in first and second!..or just get some dang slicks
