stock 2000 z28 heads vs 243 casting heads

Default stock 2000 z28 heads vs 243 casting heads

with both these heads being stock would you really be able to tell a deferince in the 2 heads or i quess what iam asking is it worth the money to swap the heads.

you might have 241s so if thats the case i would ask what cam

smokemup.com good flow # on heads and intake.
243 heads need *2 degree duration than a 241 head on the exhaust side stock.243 head flow 30cfm .243 heads open up your choice of cams,when wanting big power numbers.

if your 2000 Z was built in late 99 or early 2000 you have 853's but if it was built in mid 2000 then you have 241's. either way 243's are a great upgrade!

243's flow much better than stock heads. I have some off an 04z06 assembled with double-springs/titanium retainers for sale. PM me if your interested

if you are talking about SOTP/butt dyno...then probly not. and it would only be at peak that the difference would be felt. but if you are going for numbers...yeah do it. port 'em if u can too.
