Wont Start after cam install
I just finished installing a comp cam 224 cam with pushrods, springs, oil pump, chain, ect.. I got everything back together except for the exhaust and started it open headers and it started right away with no smoke, I let it warm up and then shut it off, changed the oil and hooked up the rest of the exhaust. I went to go restart it and it turns over but wont start. the coil packs are plugged in and im getting fuel, i also pulled one of the plugs and it looked fine. Im ready to go out of my mind with this car I cant figure it out.

I also am throwing a code for o2 sensor for bank 2 sensor 1 and p0300 random misfire which i expected. could the o2 be causing it not to start? Im really at a loss here

You may need to press the gas a little bit to let more air in. Mine did the same thing. I did that and it fired up and I had to help it idle for a second then it started idling on its own and would crank everytime. The computer is just learning the idle probably.

Ok, if you havent yet or even if you have go back and check all connections and grounds. Something could have vibrated loose. If that all checks out I'd try putting your old plugs back in just to make sure the new ones didn't possibly foul (it can and has happened). Just trying to eliminate all the possibles before you have to start tearing back into it or have to crack open the wallet again.

Well going back to basics - if it won't start either spark or fuel is not arriving all the way to the cylinder.
In your first post you said you had fuel - do you have fuel at the injectors?
You have talked about plugs, but have you actually seen spark at the plug? - using a loose plug of course.

I have been helping with the build,There is fuel in the rails. like he said it ran fine for five minutes and then we shut her off, put the rest of the exhaust on and changed the oil and tried to re crank it. ITs sounding like it wants to but it won't

Even if it is a ECM / Sensor / power wire/ or ground problem the end result will be that either spark or fuel is not making it all the way to the cylinder.
I would want to know whether I was chasing a fuel problem or a spark problem. If the answer is neither then the answer is inside the motor.
