Default Eps 226/234 113

Anybody running one? Driveability? Any info, not a whole lot of overlap wondering about idle?

It is getting put in my car next week. Hoping it will have some good results when it gets tuned on the 18th. Geoff is a top notch guy, and was very helpful to me deciding on which cam to choose. I will let you know the outcome. Sorry I didn't help you too much.

+1 on Geoff being a top notch guy. Just havent found much info on this cam. I thought I had my cam picked out but I like the idea of the EPS lobes being easier on the valvetrain componets. Wondering how these lobes compare to XFI/XE-R lobes?

I just installed one in an A4 Corvette and it drove great. No #'s yet but the valvetrain was dead quiet (set up properly of course) and seems to drive real well in the automatic.

I'm going to be installing EPS 222/226 cam w/ lsa 113 mated w/ stock 243 heads. I'm just waiting for my pulley puller to get here so I can start tearing the engine apart. I'll be posting some vids and dyno vids ASAP.

Well just how much better are these lobes? We've heard over the years about cam
companies having majical lobes. But a few years ago the lobes were getting do aggressive they were putting extra power gains over valvetrain reliability. I read these lobes they are easier on the lifters and springs which sounds good. But is that the main reason about these lobes? They sound nice , but rather ask.

I'm running an EPS 226/238 111+3 and it makes great power everywhere.. Really noticeable in the mid-top end, the bottom end is very nice as well. Driveability is great and would be even better with the 226/234 113 you're looking at.

We have been working on providing more information on these lobes. If you look at this link, I try to explain some of the history on how this lobe design came to be: http://www.engpwrsys.com/tech-notes/cam-design.html

Thanks

How long has this cam been out? I am looking for a cam for my 99 formula A4 and i want good driveability. It sounds like this is exactly what I am looking for. Would like to know what kinda of numbers it makes.

Just installed another 226/234 EPS in a 2010 Camaro LS3. Runs great and dead quiet valve train.

Great question. As I have recently landed a set of 799 heads myself.
