Default 59cc or 64cc chambers

When i purchase my patriot heads which chamber should i run? They say the 64cc heads will bump the compression to 10.5 or the 59cc heads will bump it to 11. If i do the 59cc can i still run 93 octane?

what kind of gas can you buy in Idaho?with the 64cc heads you can use a more street friendly cam,the 59cc heads will require a good tune and a more radical cam.

Good tune will be the key. You will be right on the edge w/11:1 CR.

64CC chambers not only give u the ability to run 91 or 93 octane but you can also run a greater range of cams with out having to fly cut. I had 59cc chambers and I could only get 91 octane fuel where am at and had to use a bottle of Torco with every tank it gets old after a while.

I would make a street trim tune for your car then. Or get a water/meth injection setup.

It's hard to say without knowing how much advance is ground into the CheaTR V3 cam. You would be marginal at 59cc and 91 octane, but it could be done. If you want a better margin for error, 64cc is only giving up a few HP for the piece of mind...

Best bet, call the guys at Thunder Racing and see what they recommend. They should know what works best with their grind.

I have 59cc heads and an very close, if it was my DD then I would go with the 64cc to be safe, if it is a secondary car then go for more compression.

I think you are better suited for the 64cc as you may have to use 91 octane every now and then.

Glad I don't have your problems.. the gas station by my house sells 93, 100, and e85.

I went with 58cc chambers and .040 gaskets.
