Default My EPS baby cam-only on bolt-on '02 Z28

A number of you here helped me decide on a cam a couple of months ago. After research and ending with talking to Geoff at EPS, I went with his baby 222/226 113 (this is my non-racing DD). I just posted the sound/vid clips in multimedia section:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/multimedi...l#post14170940

I'll post Dyno results on Monday.
Due to snow last week, I only drove it once after the street tune. But I like the way it pulls. Good SOTP response so far.
People ask if tune is necessary, esp with an M6. My opinion is even with this baby cam, there was a huge difference...it idles better and pulls stronger and smoother.

Like thousands of others, I used LS1Howto.com. No major problems, I made my own "Larry tool" for the springs. It's shorter and rides on a socket instead of the edge of the head. I wished I had read more about the harmonic balancer re-install I thought all I needed to do was warm it in the oven like a loaf of bread...yeah right!

Modified "Larry tool" on #8:

I took the easy/safe route and got it all from EPS: Trick flow PRs (7.425), Pac springs, and single row hardened timing chain.

Awesome man. We will have to meet up next spring/summer and cruise. Check out the many different cruises set up for next year in the NW Section. Nice Camaro. Sounds great!

Nice. Whats the lift on that cam? I'm running a Patriot 225/229 .580/.590 114+4 cam. I noticed you are using 7.425 pushrods. I'm using stock pushrods, and it makes me wonder if I'll need a different size

.596/.598 I think most his specs are on his site.

Yeah I know. I just didn't like the idea of underdriving my alternator & stuff for the sake of a few more HP. I'm happy to say I've got 400HP under the hood, if I've got 394 at the wheels :-)

Great numbers, much better than my Tr224 could achieve (~370rwhp), can't wait to get my EPS cam installed after seeing everybody's crazy high numbers on here.
