i have no experiences myself, but from a lot the threads i have gone throught it seems like the ms3 and ms4 as mentioned above are a couple of the favorites. i have never seen anyone say anything bad about the Trex cam either. even seen PatrickG talk good about the ol trex cam.

well im changing my set up to a more radical one. still on stock heads right now im on a 230/228 .603/.589 110 lsa.
im thinking either ms4 or the trex camshaft.
does the ms4 require flycutting pistons?

TREX, Reason, Its the Cam only king. And that is proven. But I am going to get a EPS cam one of his larger spec cams and I should do well. But Geoff at EPS design the TREX so I have heard of a TREX killer but you would have to call him and ask.

Something like that would probably require a little, just have to measure and see. Some people get away without it but from what I've heard, most have to with a bigger cam. If you want something huge and gnarly, call up EPS, they have the best lobes out right now and have been making wicked power/torque with their custom grinds. I saw a guy that went 450/426 on an 01 camaro, longtubes, ls6 manifold, supporting mods, basic slightly home ported 241s, and a tune with their off the shelf 234/246 111lsa cam.

I run a ms4,didn't have to fly cut,big cams will be a dog down low,4.10s made the ms4,and with the new rear soon to come I will run 4.30s,with a 150 shot,if I wasn't spraying,I would run a 4.56,I also agree that the eps lobes are great,

Not sure on that one but I think its right on the edge of either needing a little or not needing it. Call em up and see. Haha, good cam to look at or just get a custom one grind by them for what you want. I just picked up a custom EPS thats just a hair smaller than that one and the guy who had it first (only has 1k miles on it) made 406/398 to the wheels cam only with 3 bad piston rings so I'm hoping I can get some real good numbers from it with 243s and a solid engine haha.

stock rod bolts and your limiter was 7200? thats just asking for disaster. generally anything over 6500 is reserved for stronger rod bolts. and there is no need to rev an MS4 to 7200 RPM. it makes power untill about 6500. i had my limiter set at 7200 with ARP bolts and shifted at 6900 ish...

I can imagine its big brother is the same way.
