I picked up my set of 799s for 420ish shipped with a full set of rocker arms from See5 on here. They were just about brand new too!

500 seems like the going rate for used ZO6 243s.

Send your 243's to A.I. and they'll be every bit as good as a TFS 215, or any other head for that matter.

The only difference between the 243 heads and the 317 heads is the combustion chamber volume correct?

243 = 64.45cc's
317 = 71.06cc's

Is that correct?

Somewhere close to $1000 from what I hear. But when you think of it, $500 for the heads and $1K to get them touched up isnt too bad at all. Some guys have gained over 50 rwhp from these heads after AI's P+P

Thats awesome man, makes me excited for when I finally get a bonafide H/C package.

Out of curiosity, what intake are you running? I've been scratching my head forever about which intake to go with.

I bought a 2008 5.3 for 400 complete and had the 243s on it, i removed them for a set of 40$ 317s and the 243s will go on my 6.0, pretty sweet deal, 28K miles on the motor.

Click on the Advanced Inductions link on the right side of this thread; may
have to scroll up or down to find it and then navigate your way through
their site and it shows before and after flow #'s as well as percentage of
improvement. What you'll find is that many companies can claim more peak
CFM @ .550 and .600 lift but AI has some of the best #'s in the low-lift
.200-.500 range which means good port speed , runner efficiency, and more
torque through the power band.
