Valve job
ls6 oil pump
ls2 chain only
pushrods
I am running the Patriot Gold springs ($250 new IIRC)
Don't forget head gaskets, water pump gaskets, head bolts (stock are torque to yield and cannot be reused), crank pulley bolt, oil, filter, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some odds and ends.
I would also have some new lifters on hand. Never know if one could be damaged and if the engine is high mileage they should be replaced anyway.

We offer a ported and shimmed ls6 pump (approx. 10%better flow, and 10psi increase across the entire rpm range)
With the Torquer v2 we recommend at least a 3200 converter, in my car I would run a 3600...

Just about covers everything... although I would recommend our cam, spring, pushrod package for $599.99.
The Torquer v2 is right at the limits of the pac 1218/comp 918s, but the pac beehive 1518s would work.

Is there any real difference between a torquer v2 compared to a v3? I was looking into get on of these cams.

i believe there ramp and specs are different, just like they make a ms 3 and 4,although from what ive read alot of guys like the ms3 and the v2 better because its more of a starter cam so to speak,i wanted to do it once,do it right,no baby 224 cam for me,no sir,lol

Torquer V2 232/234 .595"/.598" 112LSA
Torquer V3 231/234 .643"/.598" 111LSA
The difference is we used a more aggressive intake lobe with a tighter lobe separation with the V3 to allow for better midrange over the V2.

Most people go v2 over v3 because they're afraid of the lift on the V3. Thats why when I did my 1st cam I chose the torquer 2, I didn't want to have to swap my springs every 15k, but shortly after I realized I'm never gonna ride this thing so I stuck a MS4 in it.

They will work, they are good up to .650" lift!
Personally, on my car, I would run the PRC .650" Dual Springs with either of those cams just for my own peace of mind.

so i can have the valves grinded on both heads for 90 bux, also they can do a 5 angle valve job,is this what i want?
Should i mill the heads any?
So far parts aquired are pac 1518 springs and 243 heads(gto)
tourker v2 or xer281 however you wanna look at it.
still need opinions on timing chain and oil pump.
Ive seen the ls2 slack, that cant be good, and there is the irws chain,i dont wanna spend over 50 bones so whats the best chain?
also oil pump, should i get a stock replacment or just rebuild mine?160k but oil pressure is great 40 idle -60 running

If the shop doing the valve job knows ls heads then a 5 angle would be good.
Definitely shave the heads, even a little bit helps. Mine were cut .010". If you have cam clearance, I would consider .020".
I am using the ls2 chain. I got a Lingenfelter ported ls6 pump pretty cheap, but like I said I bet TSP would make you a package deal for everything you need that can't be picked up locally.

I would expect a v3 car with full bolt ons, good tune, manual trans, and stock drivetrain with stock 243s to make ~415rwhp. Might squeeze a little more out of its all setup perfect.
