Default Will this cam require flycutting?

Will a 243/247 .624/.624 110+2 LSA camshaft require me to flycut when using 65cc 317 heads .054 head gasket thickness with stock valves?

most likely yes with the heads milled that much what engine is it a ls1 or lq9 i would almost bet it will have to be if its a lq4 you might get lucky and not have to best thing to do is check the ptv clearance then you will no for sure

Its Ls1. What about a 236/242 .615/.624 on a 111+2? If I had the heads milled only .040" instead of .050" to make them 67cc closer to stock ls1 heads would the more extreme cam fit? Its close to a Trex but using the LSL lobes.

Its an auto transmission not a manual also. I know autos can be a little closer on PTV than manual transmissions.

the cc of the heads has nothing to do with the ptv its how much you mill them a set of 317 milled 40 will have the same ptv as a set of 243 milled the same the second cam you have listed should be fine if you dont mill the heads if you mill them i would check the ptv just to be safe

Would a set of unmilled 243 heads work for the first cam?

it mite but there would be no way of knowing without checking no longer then it takes to check i wouldnt chance it, why are you set on that big of a cam running stock casting heads you could get more power from a smaller cam and it drive much better

Just looking at the majority of fastest cam only people most have a Trex so I was trying to do something similar and try the new lsl lobes. My car is not a driver just a toy that I drive to the track. I already have a 4500 stall and 4.56 gears which match that size of a cam.
