Ok guys... Going to pull my engine this weekend... Tips?
Is there anything that I will likely forget to unhook? Any tips to speed things up?
When putting the LQ in is it easier to bolt the whole thing together first or should I leave anything for later? I'm primarily concerned about the heads and headers?
Take your time and and don't rush any thing, keep track of all you parts and hardware. Double check before all wiring harness plugs and ground wires before you start to pull it out.

For this reason, write down, in numbered steps, the procedure of removing the parts. This way, when the reinstall takes place, you'll know exactly, the correct sequence. This would also include things like..."then, jack up the front end", and/or, "engine hoist boom set to 1/2 ton", etc.
I just went through this. Because I had a written sequence, all went back according to schedule, with no wasted time or labor.
nobody helped me at all, and I have a shitty tool set..
if not you'll have to drop the tranny and drip oil everywhere and it's hard to take the Torque converter bolts off while under the car and someone turning the engine ughhh...
anyway goodluck either way..
That's good **** right there.
