Default Props to TEA and FMS....flow numbers within...

At first, I was upset with TEA this week. I paid my heads off on Tuesday with the understanding they would ship out on Weds. When I called Thurs, Brent explained to me that the heads weren't flowing like he wanted them to, so he was still working on them.

Brent was able to finish the heads and overnight them to me and they arrived Sat morning. Big thumbs up for that. Guess they were a little behind 'cause Brian headed out to SEMA this week.

Any way, here's the flow numbers for my heads (1999 LS1 Heads):

Lift---Exh---Int

.100----53----68
.200---104---135
.300---151---198
.400---199---249
.500---216---283
.550---230---292
.600---236---303

Not too shabby for LS1 heads. I will be using these with a Futral Motorsports cam that specs out at 226/226 .591/.591 113 LSA. Allan (at FMS)was nice enough to ship it to me so I could get everything together. I will also be spraying also <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Thanks TEA!

Is that a stage1 port job? With or without stock valves?

Todd, you will like this cam ... took me from low 12's to 11.67 and produced 408 (?) rwhp through 4:30's and a Ford 9". Good luck.

My valves were 2.02/1.57, so I guess you'd call that Stage 2. I was going to order heads from Jason (Absolute Speed), but I already had valves, and they were different from the kind Jason usually uses. To keep cost down, I ordered through TEA and used my valves and springs.

Flow #'s for my TEA 5.3L heads...seem to be consistant with everyone else's for the most part.....although mine seem to be a bit ahead of others at high lift, but behind (especially in the exhaust category) in mid lift numbers which is surprising.

Lift Intake Exhaust

.100 72.2 55.0
.200 141.6 105.2
.300 205.6 151.5
.400 254.6 193.4
.500 290.1 231.0
.550 300.4 247.2
.600 306.2 260.4
