It would be cool if you guys could get with BSP and develop a cam that works well with their small bore LS3 heads and stock 346 displacement. That is such a great budget head option. Good factory heads, awesome factory intake on the cheap.

I just shot in the dark and went with a 230/239, something close to what the true LS3 guys were doing.

Haven't had a chance to dyno yet. Feels a bit lazy under 3k, but screams pretty good up top. Then again, I stuck it on a 115 because I was going boost later down the road. Perhaps on a tighter lsa, it would be a bit less lazy down low.

Since the transmission mount gave out I am still fixing things lol. Transmission is coming out to replace the bushing and seal in the tailshaft and inspect my housing. New BMR Tq arm relocation going in to remove arm off tailshaft. Header gasket was blown out as well, majority of my band clamps are leaking and have exhaust ticks everywhere....

Tighter exhaust center line and intake center line would improve low end a lot.

I'd love to do something like that, I'm sure those heads would cam very similarly to a cathedral port in terms of the IVC to EVO relationship needed.

New best for me, 11.87 at 112.9 mph. Almost hit the 113 mark. The air gage said altitude was 2800', air temp was 74 deg and 56% humidity.

Very nice! If you get some good 1000 or less DA you should be well into the 114mph zone, but the E.T. is also very nice as well.

Jumped you by 3/4 of a car and you had him reeled back in by the top of 2nd!

This is why I sell so many of these cams because they flat out work on the street. Want to make a big cam only car feel dumb they didn't optimize their set-up?

Buy a SNS Stage 2 cam....

To those that have asked for track results and street results on my cams...here you go. Torque rules.

Your set-up will be VERY strong as well!

He has a stock thickness gasket so he's in the clear for P to V clearance.

As we found out the hard way with Z28TTM6 car, the 5.3 heads with smaller than a 63cc chamber when used with a .040" gasket and the SNS Stage 2 really should be measured and fly-cut accordingly if it's needed.

As I said above, and told you when you made your purchase, the stock gaskets will give you enough room to not have to fly-cut.

Matt,

When we send your heads out after they come back from Ai, I'll have a hat sent with them.

Martin, what cam would you recommend for my setups?

Silverado
408ci (9.2:1 cr)
AFR 225
200 shot(going turbo soon)
224/231 .595/.595 114

5th Gen Camaro
416ci(LS3)
9.28cr w/Weisco pistons,
Manley rods and DragonSlayer 4" crank
LSA Heads - WCCH P&P w/Patriot dual extreme springs.
SS intake/Inconel exhaust valves
Twin turbo - Garrett 3586's w/1.03 a/r
Stock manifolds with dual 3" exhaust

This cam was sent with the turbo kit:
244/248 .624/.624 115 LSA

The shop installed this one instead:
243/247 .623/.623 115LSA 113ICL
