I don't know. He had it on two maybe three different dyno's. Dyno jet was 460 and mustang dyno was 450. If there's more to it he didn't elaborate.

It was in a Z06, I don't know if the headers are a better design than a f-body or it dyno's higher because of the drivetrain setup. I have the dyno graph somewhere.

I've seen that 460 number out of the G5X3 cams before. And any 234/242 or similar cam is a "G5X3" cam lol.

Martin, since my ptv is going to be close as it is, I'm definitely doing a bigger cam. I'm still debating the tuning, I might just go Polluter and get HPT and let Jonathan help me out with the tune.

Do you guys rent the tool out?

Jake, the right heads, as we've seen w/ Dr. Whigham, 460 can be possible. Below is a link to a buddy in our Vette group that has 471rwhp &440ft-lbs w/ non-ported 205 AFR's milled to 59cc and a G5X1-E cam. The G5X1-E was a reverse split cam that's pretty small. I don't believe LG offers it anymore, but here it created great power on this setup. With your build I don't see why you couldn't get there using a bigger cam. I probably should add, this Vette's LS6 does have less than 30k miles on it.

Oh, I could hit 460 with the cam I have now and would pissed if I didn't. The bigger cams would be for a run at 500...

Ouch, easy there buddy. LOL I agree that a degree or two here or there isn't going to make 30 rwhp, it probably wouldn't make 10 rwhp. Although in some back to back dyno testing that I had done recently, we found 10 hp by running .030" less exhaust lift. Although the seat timing is different even though the duration at .050" is the same so I'm sure that has some affect.

If you would like more info on the C5 Z06 that made 460 rwhp you can contact Andrew Rubio at Performance Motorsports in St James NY. I think his phone number is 631-366-2152. The C5 Z06 that made 450 rwhp on a Mustang dyno is actually a completely different car from here in Ky. You can contact DK Goodrich in Fort Knox Ky at 859-421-3334 about that car. I can tell you that he was very impressed with it.

I have several of my cams ground in bulk, I believe grinding them in bulk yields more accurate timing events.

Martin also sells BTR cams, isn't that right buddy?

It just seems like a high number for a LS6 intake and stock heads. C5's definitely have a much better exhaust lay-out than a F-body.

We probably could rent ours out, I'd have to ask though. I don't see it being a problem though.

I would love to do a big nasty Bullet Cam for you.

Are you legitimately making a run at 500 rwhp here Jake? Sure seems to me like you'll be in that neighborhood with the right tune.

I won't hit 500 with a stalled A4. But anything over 470 would be nice.

And sounds good. I'll get kicked out. Hoping for 10.8s or so full weight.

Same here. I'm gonna run it till it blows. I'll be getting an S60 as well though from Carl @ CRP. Only difference is my wife gave me permission

Can't wait to see how all this turns out brother. It's gonna be stout, that's a given.
