Can you give us a little more information on the "lobe design" and the benefits of it over the other COMP catalog lobe profiles?

Also, do you have any dyno graphs or track times with these new cams?

Most look like XER lobes.

Since you are California based, have you tried to pass any through a SMOG check? Did any pass?

I am considering a purchase of the SS-230 or the SS-228 with springs and pushrods but would like to know a little more about it. How does this compare to the TSP 228R cam performance wise as the 228R was my first choice until I ran accross this. Thanks.

Since they are both XE-R lobe based, it'll be exactly the same cam.

It says the lobes are not Comp catalog lobes; their own design, so that doesn't make sense.

well apparently speed engineering is not interested in trying to sell these cams with their lack of participation on their post...seems like there are some interest on them but no information. Im curious myself on what the lobes are too.

Sorry, didn't see this until now. Yes, some of our cams are based off the XER lobe design, and some are proprietary lobes with a more aggressive ramp rates that look like the XER etc. Several vendors have the same principal in mind with their cams. But, in all honesty you can only do so much adjustment with say a 224 or 228 style cam. Changing lobe design can obviously help, but your not looking at major hp changes.

Thanks
Sean

We have used up to a 228 style cam and still pass smog in CA. My old CTS-V had a 228 in it, on a 112LSA and passed the sniffer no problem.

Thank you
Sean

Do you guys have any videos of anyone running any of these cams? I'm looking to buy and am extremely interested in the SS-230 but with it being new to the market, I'd like to see some numbers from it unless you guys want a test mule.

Not at the moment. We have done a few local builds with them for dyno numbers etc. The rwhp gains seem to be right on from what we have posted. We will put up more videos/results, as the cars come through.

Thanks
Sean
