It shouldn't be that tight. Mine pops out no problem.

I put in the bottom hole with the NW. If you have too much slack, that's not good. But if it's too tight, you'll need to open up your cruise control module and adjust the cable length from there. Luckily, I didn't have to do it. So I don't know exactly what's involved.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't pop in and out. I'll try the bottom one.

I got it in. Not fully, but it's flush. It's just going to have to work.

Are you posting through the mobile app? It only seems to happen when someone posts on the mobile app.

Lmao. Admins giving two ***** is funny. All they care about is post approval. Anytime someone's mentions the adds it just gets skipped right over. So I doubt they care about phantom post at all lol

Got pretty much everything done now. I still need to run the rubber vent tube coming off the passenger side valve cover to either the rubber coupler that connects the TB to the lid, or run it to the lid itself. If I run it to the rubber coupler, I won't need to replace the rubber vent tube, but if I run it to the lid, I'll need a longer line.

I also have not drilled a hole in the lid for the IAC. I'm honestly thinking about zip tying it to somewhere around the engine bay. Would that work? I would think it would be getting air.

Decided to run the vent line and the IAT sensor in the coupler connecting the TB to the Lid. I need to pickup some 11/32 hose because the existing vent hose is not long enough to reach.

Car fired right up today. Idled a little rough for about 30 seconds, but after that it did great. Hit the throttle a few times, and all seems good there. No slack at all and throttle response was great.

Glad to hear you got it all squared away. I know when I was swapping from my 92 to 102 I was ready to burn my car. But after it started and idled great the feeling passed

She'll need some fine tuning before getting it back on the dyno, but I was surprised how well it idled. Throttle response feels way better too. Super crisp.

Is it that issue when posting from the mobile app that no one wants to fix?
