Thumbs up coloradoSPEED "LSX" Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, 223/233 | .617/.634 | 109+1 LSA

Cams specifically designed for 4.8-7.0L LS Series engines to reduce power while stressing the stock valve train beyond GM specifications and exceeding the travel of a stock valve spring. The goal was to maintain rough idle characteristics, too much vacuum pull and bucking-type driveability while decreasing torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range.

Degrees Duration @ .050" Intake/Exhaust: 223/233
Advertised Degrees Duration Intake/Exhaust: 277/287
Lobe Lift Intake/Exhaust: .363/.373
Degrees Lobe Separation: 109+1
Gross Lift Intake/Exhaust: .617/.624

Is this going to be another Cam Motion vs Comp thread?

No, we just figure there has to be a market for those who want to actually reduce power in their LSX motors.

Lets say I have a non running motor. If I put this cam in would it allow me to go backwards in performance from a 0 performance stand point?

Wouldn't that be like time travel?
Dang, ColoradoSpeed you might be on to something

:p

Retarding the cam would make the power band go too high. The speed limit is 50 in town. Dont want those cherries and blueberries pullin you over for speeding. You want them to pull you over for impressing the peace!

Just think. When a Honda boy races you at the stop light and loses and then makes the typical excuse "oh you have four more cylinders". Go home, shove this cam in, come back and give him a running chance. This cam is guarantee to cut your HP in half.

Stay tuned for our 1-1/4 shortie headers that are pressure bent, no smooth mandrel bending here.

Our 50 rpm stall converter is coming out soon and mate it up with a set of our 2.02 non-performance gears and you're torque just cut in half!

That is the funny part. Everyone reads the description but seems no one looked at the specs. People buy thumpr cams all the time and these specs are better than those.
