Do you want the cam that works the best without Nitrous? Or do you a cam that works best with Nitrous?
They are different. The cam made for Nitrous should work better with Nitrous but a little weaker with out Nitrous. The cam for NA no Nitrous will still work good with Nitrous but should run a little on just motor alone.

If your car will be street/ and some strip, then my advice is to spec the cam for your best NA need then just spray that. Up til 150 shot, it is not necessary to make the cam nitrous biased.

When a customer asks if their cam needs to be biased towards nitrous use I ask a few questions to get an idea of how often they will be using nitrous, and how much nitrous will be used each time.

If a customer isn't spraying his engine every time he uses it at WOT then IMO there is no need for a "nitrous" camshaft. Especially if that amount of nitrous isn't over 200-250hp.

Based on the cams you've mentioned, I feel you would like our SNS Stage 3 camshaft. Its specs are 235/243 .621/.624 111+2.

I am a big fan of TEA TFS heads, and the 215cc castings are proven to make power. Those heads and the SNS 3 would make a strong running combination.

What if I use the Texas speed stage 2.5 5.3 heads withe the sns stage 3 and a 100-200 shot

OP, I would look into a custom cam from either sponsor here that replied to your post. Martin@Tick or Kip@CamMoion.

We can't, or at least shouldn't, give anyone a hard time for reviving old threads. Badmaroonz28 probably used the search function and was shown that/this discussion based on relevance to his/her search.

To badmaroonz28,
Ask tick, or Martin, or pat g directly via phone or email or private message on here. Asking the general population will get you a bunch of answers from a bunch of desktop "professionals"... Or you can actually ask the actual pro's directly. It's your choice.
