Yeah from what I can tell. I have the slp fan switch and I tested that out. Worked perfect.

I did not read threw this whole thread. So if you got it running congrats! But if not I had a very similar situation with an automatic. I put everything together I knew it was all correct, but it would just crank crank crank and not start! Well what happen was since I did not have the tune on it the computer was having a hard time with the cam.. It was a cheaTR cam too. Anyway I got it running by have the gas petal stuck to the floor like my foot was going to go threw it and cranked it. It finally started! Hope your problem is the same as mine and you get it running if you have not already. Oh I have gotten that car tuned and it runs great now! Good cam.

Aight I just went out there and check over the pcm.

I loosend the bolt on the front part of the pcm a week or so ago cause I thought I was going to send it off to TSP that day; but I didnt. I just went out there and for ***** and giggles I went to tighten those bolts down to make sure they were in good...one was completely loose. I actually remember pulling on it to get it out, then left it .

Sooooooooooooo...is my problem solved you think?

The coils are off right now and I am tired as hell so tommarow I will put them back on and try to fire it up.

I let it run for a good 5 to 7 seconds...never came up.

Where should I start?

Should I try again?
I took extra care getting the o ring on right.
That oil pressure sending unit in the back of the manifold is fine.

It should have come up in that 5-7 seconds. It's got to be one of the 2 things you mentioned.

If the O ring is fucked up wouldnt pressure still come up though?

Maybe I installed one of the spacers wrong...heard people say that will cause 0 pressure.

I really think I installed it all right though

Yeah, typically I think the o-ring will give you a low oil pressure. No experience here with spacers, so I can't comment on that.

Is it worth trying again? will starting it and letting it run for another 5 seconds hurt anything?

Did you check the wire(s) from the oil pressure sensor/sending unit
I recall reading someone cut/pinched the wires (doing a H&C install) and had no oil pressure indication

Wow, I just read thru this thread. My heart is breaking as I am in the middle of a complete engine swap and have never done one before. I hope mine starts when I turn the key and I have pressure.

Thank you for sharing your pain so that others (read I) can learn from it and avoid the pitfalls. I am subscribed.

Good luck!!!
