Default T-rex

ok here's the deal i am building my ls1 up to make as much N/a power as possible. but i dont want to wait to do everything at once. here are the plans

next week Moser 9" and 255lph fuel pump.

with this could i put the T-rex cam, dual patriot springs, TT retainers, l-7 locks, beefer pushrods. in with the stock heads and intake and see pretty good numbers? i am planning on going to Fast90 intake and TB or Ls2 intake and Fast 90 tb w/ bigger injectors and AFR 205 or 225. i am wanting to make as much power as possible so you guys tell me what yall think.

Default t rex numbers

410 rwhp power seems a bit low i would have thought it would make more power than unless that is through a 9 inch or 12 bolt!

The 9" will probably cost him about 10-15 rwhp from 10 bolt numbers. I'm pretty sure that Thunder put the 451 rwhp through a 10 bolt.

do the t rex killer, have to fly cut your pistons and replace lifters, but thats not a big deal for you since you will be taking the heads off anyways

Actually, he shouldn't have to do either of those things.

it says that the cam "shouldn't have ptv issues with unmilled factory ls1/ls6 heads"...which means it is worthy of consideration for a cam

it does say that "comp r lifters are required"...but from what i've read, we'd be better off sticking with the stock rockers as the comp rs have been problematic.

That is because people are not setting them up properly. Not because they are bad.

You do realize that he is talking about Joe's cam....not the Thunder cam.

I was waiting for someone to say that... that cam is called the "T-Rex Killer" but I don't know much more than about it than that.

The T-Rex works fine with stock pistons, heads, and lifters. I know this first hand

I'm not sure if you said it before, but do you have a set of long tubes? You said you'd be putting it in with the stock intake still, but you mentioned upgrading that which is good. But if you don't have headers, get them first!!!
