Default TR Old Man Cam or Old Man Truck Cam

Anyone use or knows someone who has this cam in a LS1?

Comments regarding performance, idle, power range?

If it's going in your GTO I would recommend the regular OMC and not the "truck" version to get your powerband where it needs to be.

Thanks Paul. Is this cam which can be used with stock exhaust manifolds or do LT headers needed to be inplace?

This cam will work fine with stock exhaust manifolds.

You're only 7 hp short of the low end numbers. Add headers and you'll exceed those numbers. Also, ditch the K&N garbage filter and get a AEM dry flow filter. The K&N isn't good for a MAF meter.

Where, in that 15 year old thread, does it even mention a K&N filter?? Or cam specs??
