I am going to have to agree with predator Z on this one, LG does seem like a legit company and i have a friend making great power on the G5x3. But the fact that they wont just tell you the specs is weird. I think its dumb to try to be sneeky about your cams when the G5x3 is basically an MS3 as far as i know only off a few degrees. The only difference i see is that your cam costs more than the MS3. Also i know they say the cam is just a slap it in and go but if you ask any engine builder out there they will tell you to get the optimum performance out of the cam you should degree it, so knowing the specs would be a big help. So i just dont understand why a company would hide the specs when someone can easily have a cam doctored and copy the cam if they really wanted to...

Sorry bro, you don't have the history, the results, or the credibility of the big names in the business. Names like Lou Gigliotti, Tony Mamo just to name a couple. There credibility is solid, who the hell are you to judge the people that have made so many advancements for the lsx market.

I got a stall for sale that's perfect for that cam. It flashes to a top secret rpm, has a need to know basis shift extension and hits hard with a x.x STR.
But I've all ready told you way too much so don't even try to get the effiency out of me

Are you serious? They're not even comparable! Look at the valve events, dyno graphs, or watch the cars run. The X3 is way better down low and just shy of the MS3 on top end (if you get one of the few setups that matches it well... seems for every 1 good running MSx cam car I see, there's 9 more that run like crap). Yes, the MS3 is a slightly better performing top end cam, but has no ***** down low whatsoever. You gotta like mechanical advantage to use it properly. That means gears and a stall for those of you scratching your heads.

And that's why they will lose some business that they otherwise might have gotten.
Why should anyone have to do that? It's much easier to buy another companies proven cam or have one custom built to your cars setup. Either way it causes no extra leg work for the consumer and they get a kick *** cam.
It's a win win.

I personally wouldn't buy a cam I didn't know the specs of. I don't think cam copying is really a big issue. How many people do you see running the magic stick, or the Trex, the torquer, this list goes on. They seem to be doing fine and they show the specs of them. I don't get it. I wouldn't do business with them myself.

If you guys aren't spec'ing your cams anyway, you have lost your minds. I'm glad to pay the extra $50 for an LG cam. Every one me and my friends have checked always specs out to be ground exactly right. Maybe the extra cost is because they cost LG more to have Comp grind to closer tolerances. Maybe not. But they're the tightest tolerance cams around.

If that means I'm out of my mind then call me crazy!

I think I call bs on all the tighter tolerance and blah blah blah. I think they just don't want to spill the beans maybe because its not exactly what people think.
