How much to mill with Torquer2 + stock heads + -4cc pi
I have the engine out and tried using the scr/dsr calc's but I dont know enough of the details.
Can someone help me calculate what head gasket to use or how much to have the stock 241 heads milled for max scr/dsr? Want to run on pump gas and I'm using the mahle -4 cc valve relief forged pistons. I've already called TSP. I have no money left for LS6 heads.

acording to my "rough" calculations, if you use a .040 cometic,shave your heads .030 or whatever it takes to get your heads down to 61 cc,cr will be around 10:9,i think.with the torquer on a 112 dcr will be alittle over 8.1,if you get it 112 +2 it will be right at 8.3 if my calcs are correct anyway.

You are pissing in the wind on 241 heads.
Get a set of stock LS2 castings if you want the cheapest route. Those are ~ 62 cc
and mill .018 with .040 Cometic
You'll get ~11.2:1 and ~8.5 DCR

I was reading that every .006 off the head is -1cc correct?

Problem is the 241 will require a significant amount of mill. to make desired impact.
You'll require 57 cc at least to make close to 11.0:1 SCR and 8.35 DCR
Doing that would kill your flow on stock heads.
Cost:241
Mill: ~$100
push rods (shorter) ~$125
Cometics ~$175
That is to get close to 11.0:1 with 59.5 cc/.040 with reduced flow.
That is why $450 for LS2 stock castings is a better choice if you are on tight budget.

And how much shorter to I have to get the pushrods? I think I calc'd the T2 cam needing 7.425 with stock rockers before.

Use 7.40 p-rods
Because you shorten distance by .015 on heads and .014 on gasket
.015+.014= ~.029
Tv2 base circle is .09x smaller, take 1/2 of that is .045 effective radius
.045-.029= .016
7.40's will be perfect.

I have the 112 +2 and milled my 241# heads .040. Im still using a 7.400 pushrod. My SCR is 10.9 and my DCR is about 8.2 with very small flycuts.
Mill as much as your comfortable doing and use a smaller gasket for a tighter quench. Id love a touch more compression myself.

I wonder what the difference in HP would be, between the stock ls2 243 head milled and a TSP stage one budget ported LS6 head milled with the same compression and dcr
