The motor we just built:
900rpm: 47psi cold 39psi HOT(oil temps 205+)

Cold idle = 55-58psi
Hot idle = 38-40psi

What oil are you running?

I'm running M1 5w-30 cuz it's all I had at the time in my 408 and I'm seeing around 38 at idle hot and about 45 at idle cold. Less than stellar pressure but what do you expect with such a thin oil. I got some GC waiting to go in but I almost stripped the oil pan bolt (as it's been abused over the years) and decided to wait for it another day.

Ported LS6 pump.

60-65 psi, cold
45-50 psi, hot

Went from Mobile 1 SuperSyn 5w-30 to Castrol German Synthetic 0w-30.

Ported SLP pump with the stiffer spring.

Cold, spikes the guage, 80psi
Hot 50psi

We ussually see 40-50psi hot on most of the motor's but we have had a few at 25-30psi at idle with no problems (1 was a 700rwhp blower setup)
