What is the hp/tq corrected ?

I would buy more parts from Texas Speed but the added Texas taxes are out the roof. My TSP duals total price was $489.00 . Not their fault ,its the state ripping me off .

At least you don't have State tax too and your sales tax is about the same as ours .

ms4 w/ terminator heads. 3650lb 11.22 @ 125 on base line tune. To many motherf---------g imports to get more than two runs that night to get the tune better. 9.80's w/ 240 shot of nitrous next time out.I hope that's enough for those people wanting track results.

Not really considering the Trex cam went 10.2xx cam only. So that leaves you about 7mph and a full second behind the top Trex cam-only car n/a to n/a, and only 4 tenths ahead of him with 240shot....

Agree'd!

That's a pretty impressive time for a full weight car. Can you post the slip? I would like to see the full run. What was the DA? What other mods? M6 or A4?

just figure the wheel hp needed for a 3,650lb race weight to trap 125. i'd guess in the neighborhood of 470? seems about average for an aggressive heads/cam combo - assuming this is an m6 car. if it's an automatic, what the hell else is done to it? we want to know! what gears and trans...?

bear in mind that the "cam-only" record holder is a tin can sitting on the best suspension money can buy. if someone really wants to prove a point with the cams, buy rodney's car (i saw it for sale awhile ago) and swap in whatever cam you want - then spend about a year tweaking it. that would be as fair as fair can get.

The car's weight without me in it was 3650lb. I weight 230lb. I've never put the car on a dyno so I can't say I have ---hp, but a similar car with about 95% of the same stuff I have (same heads and cam) went high 490'ish rwhp. My motor is brand new and has alittle more compression than his so I hope I have the same or more when it comes to power department. The car is a m6 with 4.11 gear. and all of your typical bolt-on's.

That guy's car is a skeleton of what used to be a trans-am. I'm not saying that this is better than that, I simply posted my results as some many people asked for. But since where on the subject, what's to say he couldn't go faster/quicker with a ms4 cam. I doubt he'll do a swap just to find out wondering which one is better to end this debate. Plus the trex has been out for awhile longer compared to the ms4. In time when more people use the ms4 cam some better times will come, exspecially with a car set-up just for racing. To sum everything up theres is no far way of comparing any two products, there's just to many variables to consider. Pick which one you want and hope you get what you wanted. Ken

I love my MS4. I was torn for so long and then when the MS4 came out I jumped on it. Proven, Not Proven. I love it. I have had it in since Sep and just recently beat the hell outta the car for a day and all I can say is it can scare the living crap outta the unsuspecting Passenger. It makes good power with budget heads. Its nasty and still can be driven on the street. My numbers are in the sig.

I used to have a ms3 and the power was good but no where near the VIOLENT power of the TRex. Day and Night difference. The Trex is a proven cam and still the fastest cam only f-body!!!

If this is the case and I put down 450/405 on the MS4 are you saying I would have more power with the TRex or just harder acceleration up top? If it is that big of a difference I will buy one just to try it and see but I doubt it can make that much of a difference. I know 2 other Z06's running the TREX on stock heads and they are putting down 451/396 and 448/398.
