I have medium thength headers with hi flow cats and 4 inch exhaust all the way out the back. I need to know if this cam will put out to much stuff or what ever its called to make me fail inspection. I know it is a pretty eratic cam and all. Also will I have problems with my power brakes due to vacumming problems?thanks everyone Will I have problems with the car dying i have a 2800 PI Stall.

That cam will not pass an emissions test. It won't even come close.

From what I gather, your best bet to pass emissions tests would be with a B1 or similar cam.

Make sure the car is warmed up to normal operating temps when you go in to get it inspected and raise your idle up to 1000 rpms or so. I bet it would pass then.

That cam passes emissions in Chicago in 93-97 LT1 cars, do they have lower standards than us?

Rig your air pump to stay on and that might help too.

First off...the cam WILL pass emissions. But, its better to be safe then sorry and follow some of the advice these guys have given.

Second....brakes are not in question.

Third....you have a better chance of your car dying without the converter in. Putting the converter in will help you stop lurching at stoplights too.
