346cid LS1 all motor at high 9s?
I was looking around and saw this small decription of a motor that ran 9.95 @ 136.89 mph all motor 346cid LS1, i was wondering how this was possible? Parts? Anything?
Thanks

Found out how it does that, the ad says "all motor" but its stock weight, stock bottem end, some bolt ons, and a S**T load of nitrous... I dont consider that "all motor" Do you?

tryingta why is it bs? you got the recipe right. gutted car w/huge heads and cam. if several members on here can run 10.20's with a cam only, why is it so out of the realm of possibility?

all motor equals no nitrous. I posted my bs call before gordon edited his post saying that the car has a shitload of nos. I didn't mean bs on the 1/4 mile time, just on the all motor claim. I don't consider nitrous all motor, don't think many do either

Magnus and The Juggernaut have both gone 9s with an N/A heads/cam 346 and they both ran hydraulic cams.

Yes but just think what my car would have run if it weighed 2900lbs ! Yea I ran a solid so what? Joe tried to run it the 9's with a hyd using a 6-speed its not as easy everybody thinks.
The car ran 9's first on nitrous then N\A and the car was not gutted..A\C in the dash and full interior minus back seat 3230lbs.

Actually, he did the NA pass by using a 347 with Meaux-ported LS6 heads, a medium-sized solid roller, and I believe a sheetmetal intake along with ridiculous driving ability through a 6-speed in a street car. (not a stripper or racecar)
