Default 225 Dart Heads, how big of a cam can I go?

This question is actually for my Dad who owns a 2004 GTO. He wants to know how big of a cam he can go with these heads (duration/lift) without running into a clearance problem. Not that he's going to get the biggest cam possible but wants to know at what size is there a problem. I told him to go with a nice 224/224 114 lsa cam but he wants bigger. Somewhere in the 23x/23x range on a 112 lsa. Any suggestions for what cam would be optimal would be greatly appreciated as well. He doesn't want to spin tons of rpms either and the car will more then likely stay N/A.

crane cams (hr5 lobe) 232/234 .600/.600 112+4 is an excellent camshaft for that set up. is it an a4/m6 car?

Sorry, forgot to add that he's an A4. Was looking at about a 3200-3600 stall for him.

Talk with Futral. They run the Darts on everything from a 346 to a 427. They have lots of combos with proven levels of performance.

There's got to be people running the Dart Heads that know the answer to this.

Tell him to try the Futral F14 high lift. They have results for a GTO with one if you search the dyno section.
