I'd recommend subframes, LCA's, panhard rod and strut tower brace for starters.

I've got all BMR equipment on mine, except for the subframes which are Hotchkis.

Those two things are universal suspension mods. Good for any type of application.

LG Motorsports has good suspension products as does BMR and Hotchkis.

I went with BMR based on their prices versus everyone elses and am very happy. At the very least go with some subframe connectors, lower control arms and a strut tower brace. You can add the other stuff later as you need to.

(Well except my ex-wife and her family, but that's another story! <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" /> )

I think this is the most civil thread I've ever been involved in! Kind of refreshing.

This is awesome; we're not even discussing what the topic of this thread originally was. WOOOOOOOOOO!!! Yeah, you really can't go wrong as far as which brand suspension you choose. I know fo sho that Lou (LG Motorsports) makes awesome suspension components, what with him being a master road-racer and having all the experience a guy could ever want and what not. BMR is also fine, very fine. Great product development and great prices. Hotchkis would work too. And let me just point out, for the record, that a strut-tower brace is not a mod that has been known to help straight-line performance. But, that's not all some of you guys care about, which is A-OK. You'll love it when you're taking a turn, though. Not everyone wants every single drop of HP and straight-line performance they can get like me!

4. Yes, it does mean a lot. You dyno'd your car at 400 and 5500 with the exact same mods and didn't pick up ANY? If so, I'd say you're an abnormality.

Terry a locked A4 tranny doesnt outdyno a M6. check out MTI's results with the 393 ci setup they converted to an M6 from an A4. There was a significant difference with the only change being the tranny.
Cheers,
Chris

You would have to go to a highly modified auto to get a higher drive line efficiency than a manual. So in most cases a auto can't touch an m6.

The only reason I'm making an issue of this is because if a potential heads/cam customer of one of our sponsors starts browsing this forum and sees 445 RWHP (MTI's latest result) and reads the thread about MTI and LG's dyno sheet wars, then sees 390 RWHP from a Cartek heads/cam customer, w/o further looking into the particulars of the dyno pulls (which is highly likely), they may unfairly exclude Cartek from their consideration. That's why I am trying to make manifest all the details about these results that I can.
