Hee hee hee....dude, if you haven't read the 2 threads concerning the X1, I suggest you do so...
Here's the first one that made the results of David's (poolfanatic) dyno pull known...
https://ls1tech.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=1&t=005313
And then, either follow the link at the end of that thread or follow this one here for the dyno sheet, flow chart, and the ensuing discussion:
https://ls1tech.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=1&t=005425
Seriously, lots of good reading in there.

It actually idles better than my old "T1" did <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Much like you, my car's a daily driver so I didn't and can't have anything that doesn't start up and run right every day when I need it to, otherwise I'm walking!
And I hate to walk <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I'm right there with you on that. I hate walking anytime, but 6am is the worst!
Nice setup you've got there! You'll be cracking 400 easy when you get some miles on the car.
I'd think about the pulley and ported TB as well. Quick and easy mods that should get you an extra 10-15 rwhp. I know all too well the problems with the pulley on the 5.0 engine (former mustang guy here too), but on the LS1 there doesn't seem to be any issues.
Peace.

Thanks! It's a helluva lot of fun to drive. I had some guy in a Civic try and take me on a few nights ago, now that was funny!
What gears are you running?

Nice try.
You know that this is a Cartek Stage 2 setup with LS1 heads & HS cam as stated in the thread previously. His results are on par with their Stage 2 H/C setups in an A4.
The packages making 440-460 rwhp are the Stage X and Stage Z package. Different packages with different cams.
The only thing that MMS H/C packages do consistently are break valve springs. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Re: Cartek h&c Puts out 390RWHP
I just picked up the regular ASP crank pulley and a new belt from Thunder. They're hard to come by so you'll probably have to do some checking, unless TR still has some in stock.
Good call on the 3.73's. That's what I've got in mine and I haven't broken them yet. Get a TA girdle as well, it helps tremendously to hold everything together.
When it finally goes to pieces, I'll put 4.10's in my 12 bolt, but until then these will do the job.
I hear you on the money thing. Between the engine, wheels, brakes and exhaust I've sunk $13K into mine in the last two months. Glad I've got a good paying job or I couldn't support this habit!

I think with a ported TB and a 85mm LS6/Z06 MAF you are at 400rwhp.
I have no prior UD pulley experience prior to my Formula, but I have never had charging problems, and it's probably worth 5-7rwhp too. I have the ASP crank UD pulley.
