Re: CARTEK 415CID LS1 C5
I think he nuked it.
PS. I ran 11.10 in 90 degree temps, 1100' physical elevation. Not far off.

I dont know where your getting your false information. He went 415 because he wanted to get rid of his heavy iron block and make more hp. If you want to argue with him go right ahead...you can find him on here or the corvette forum.

Re: CARTEK 415CID LS1 C5
The owner of the car is Stealth c-5 and it was run at Englishtown Raceway park in New jersey.
He also raced against a 415 cid lingenfelter corvette and beat him.

Re: CARTEK 415CID LS1 C5
Car was driven right off carteks dyno and straight to the track. Driver had no seat time with it. So I think those numbers are quite impressive.

Anyone that thinks the Cartek cars don't run wasn't at the track that day. Congrats again.

The car runs awesome no matter what! I checked out the website above for conditions on June 30th in Atco, NJ. It lists the following at 11:54 a.m.: (over 40 minutes after the run according to the time on the timeslip)
temp: 82.94*F
dewpoint: 66.02*F
humidity: 56%
pressure: 30.21
Atco sits at 146' actual elevation. If you run this through the D.A. calculator found here, you get a D.A. of 1,663'. How did you come up with a 2,500'+ D.A., and where did you get the 96 degree temp that was written on the timeslip? I have a hard time believing that it was 96 degrees at 11:09 in the morning. I know someone that was very close to Atco yesterday, and he said it was in the mid-80's for a high. What gives? Like I said, this is not to take away from the setup. It runs friggin awesome! 1,600'+ D.A. is nothing that I'd consider awesome, but it's definitely better than the 2,500'+ being spoken of. A 10-second slip is a 10-second slip, but why is there such a huge discrepancy between the conditions listed and what multiple weather sites report?
