hey got back from work going to run to speed inc to get some plugs and wires. more propane and start to finish those springs... oh also before i button up the front i used teh old o ring for the new pump it fit alot better is that ok the ring looked all good still?

oh of course ill film it.... gluh gluh hopefully not boom

lol yuh the oil pick up tube bolt was a pain.. i was laying on my back with my 2 fingers threading it in and fish line tied to it with the other end in my mouth it was funny.... but also how do those dots look in my pics i posted??

dam u must have some sknny fingers to fit them in there enough to thread it.. i was able to get one finger in there to un thread it when i was taking it off.. and to put it back on... lets just say my banana fingers wernt helping out very much...

In my opinion the dots looked good i read somewhere you can use a ruler or something to make sure but i think everyone was in agreememtn they looked lined up....i also read online that when your using a tooth timing chain when your off it cant be by just a few degres it will ahve to be off by one tooth!! which is alot moe noticable!!!! so if your off your off and if your on your on is what i got from that i suppose

Agree, The dots looked aligned so all you really is take a straight edge to dbl check. Looks good man. Some more pics so we can keep checking progress.

ill take some pics when i get done with the springs.. im going to work on teh kar as much as i can 2day becuase i have other **** to do to and yes im itching to start her up.... if anything wednesday should be the day but im hoping 2day 2mawo

ok i broke another lil spring around the valve seal,,, i found a good spring of an old one and swapped it and it looks brand new again you think i can go with that?

well i tapped them on pritty good now... the one spring i broke i replaced with an old good one that i saw and it worked good.. my springs are done and i will continue 2mawo becuase i have to be up for work early thanks guys

its all cake from here..just put it back together. i hope you bought that tool that 918 hawk sells on here for putting the pulley back on...makes it alot easier..

In a way though, putting it back together is the hardest part! You just cant do it quick enough! LOL

Make sure you take your time and do it right. I was rushing to get mine back together, and in doing so i forgot to put on the rocker pedestools(spelling?). I got all the rockers in, and went to grab a torque wrench and valve covers, and sure enough the pedestools were sitting right there. Good thing i didnt tighten down and torque the rockers all the way, that could have been a $2000+ mistake.
