just a nice size bead around the bottom... ididnt read anything bout putting it where the metal gasket goes.. so i didnt put any there.. so far nothing seems to be leaking... i never tried heating the pulley to get it on.. hopefully that works.. do you have a torch or something... cuz if u dont.. you would prolly have to heat the whole thing.. and that could be painful...

ur question bout the seal.. yes.. once its flush and set ur good... and bout the RTV.. i meant on the bottom where it meets the oil pan... u have to scrape some of the old stuff off....

and bout the heat cicle... just let her warm up to operating temp... put the radiator cap back on... than shut her off and let her cool aaaaaaaaall the way down.. than once its all the way cool..start her back up and u should beable to drive her.. but dont rev it high..or go wot... drive her slowly around the block.... than the next day it will be ok to drive like on the highway and stuff... but still i wouldnt go WOT until you get a tune.. to reduce the risk of detonation

Everything the guy above me said. Try not to take her past 2500-3k rpms just go real easy let the car and parts learn the new cam and parts then after about 100 miles change that oil! But film it! cant stress it enough film that sucker starting up!!
