I had the G5X-2 cam installed with Absolute Speed 5.3L Stage 2 heads specifically MATCHED for this cam.
Final numbers:
447rwhp/414tq. These numbers are with Lanes' true duals and a brand new set of Kooks long tube headers through a 12 bolt with 4.11 gears.

DAYM, nice #'s. Could you let us know how the 5.3 heads were matched for the G5X-2 cam? I have a set of 5.3 heads I will be working on over the summer and am leaning towards a bigger cam maybe even the G5X-2. I believe there might be some clearance problems when you start milling the heads with a cam that big...not positive though. Any info would be hellpful, thanks!

Pump gas (93 octane), 11.2:1 compression, LGM installed the heads with the cam so I don't know what the p/v clearance is, but the piston has a valve relief cut on the intake side.
I bought the heads/cam as a package from LGM. Lou is specifically working with Jay at Absolute Speed on the 5.3L heads.
