Default Grenaded motor at shootout

Guess I will be biulding anew motor. Pics to come eventually. 200-shot + stock bottom end = 3" x 4" hole in the block and about 8 inches gone from the front of the oil pan. Ouch! This was in qualifying too.

Guess I will be out of action for a while. Had a dam n good time nonetheless. Thanks to everyone that came and had a good time!

OUCH! 200 shot on a stock bottom end apparently is too much. I'd like to see some pics of the damage.

Sorry for your bad luck.

I will have some pics, but have to leave for Florida this morning on business through the week. This was on my second qual pass. The first qual pass, I fouled the tree and didn't get a time.

I had ARP rod bolts. I was not running ATAP. Had no issues on the syno with 150-shot, so I let the 200 rip. It ripped good until WHAM! And then I heard lots of parts bouncing under the car

Sorry to hear about the problems Todd! Nitrous can do that on a stock bottom-end. Feel free to call or e-mail if we can help you with your new project.

OMG, that must have been loud to punch that hole out; would have scared the **** out of me.

Had no issues on the syno with 150-shot, so I let the 200 rip.
Good to see that your screen name fits. :p

Good luck on your next project.
